Permission Declarations

Permission declarations allow you to create templates for assigning individual users a set of permissions in an expedited manner.

This page discusses how to create, edit, delete, and assign permission declarations for users. If you need to learn more about how permissions work in ExactEstate, check out the Permissions section of the user guide.

Step 1

Click on the "Users" found in the left side navigation

Click on the icon on any user and select "Apply Extra Individual Permissions".

Select "Permission Declarations" found at the top of the page

You are now at the permission declaration dashboard!

Click "Create Permission Declarations" found at the top of the permission declarations page

First, you will need to enter the name of your permission declaration. After you have entered a name and pressed "Next Step", you will be able to select permissions

After you have entered a name, you will be able to access the cards below to toggle permissions.

Once you've finished making your permission selections, click on the blue save button found at the bottom right of the page.

Navigate to the users page. Click on the icon and select "Apply Extra Individual Permissions".

Click "Assign Permission Declarations" to bring up your permission declaration list.

Select the permission declaration you want to assign to the user.

Navigate to the Permission Declaration page. Click on the icon and select "Edit".

You will now be able to change the template name, and any permissions declared with it.

Once you are done editing the selection, press the blue button on the bottom right to save your changes.

Navigate to the permission declarations dashboard.

Step 2

Click on the icon for the permission declaration you wish to delete and select "Delete" from the menu that appears.
